I mainly make oil paintings. Partly because I spent my studies in Germany,I was strongly influenced by expressionism, whether abstract or figurative.

It is one of the characteristics of Western paintings since the modern era that all motifs are recaptured as color planes on the screen when painting, and line drawings are expressed not only as outlines that represent shapes but also as colors.

I feel that this point is the most different point from Japanese paintings even in modern times. In addition to learning how to draw mainly on the original color surface of oil painting and drawing various motifs from around the world, I also replaced the colors I got from the scenery of Japan, where I was born and raised as my roots, into the color surface of oil painting and created my own. I would like to create an expression style.
